Our comfortably rustic mountain retreat welcomes you just like Grandma would.  Located on 1.5 beautifully landscaped and wooded acres in Ashe County, North Carolina, you'll be charmed by the ambience of our chalet-style home. Grandma's House is lovingly decorated with a whimsical mix of traditional and modern handcrafts and original artwork, accented by unique collectibles and antiques.

 

 

 

 

 

Unwind in our cozy Great Room, with its brick fireplace and hardwood floors, or relax in our lawn hammock with a favorite book.  Enjoy the beauty and serenity of the surrounding mountain views from the comfort of our front verandah, or refresh your senses with a stroll through our garden trails.  And if you can't find something to do, Grandma just might put you to work!
